The Field Operations organization has a keen focus on plant performance, outage and service call reduction, productivity and quality assurance. They are responsible for maintaining our cable plant, including node and coax maintenance, plant construction and delivering quality service to the homes and businesses of our customers.

AVP Field Operations

  • As AVP Field Operations, you play a crucial leadership role in driving the company's success at the local level
  • You are responsible for overseeing a workforce of around 1,000 people and ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to deliver exceptional customer service in their assigned management areas
  • You ensure the solid execution of the company's standardized processes and business rules across various areas of field operations, such as engineering, maintenance, construction, safety, and technical training
  • You manage daily operations, oversee employees and projects, and develop business fulfillment plans and budgets
  • You provide direction to field management for overall fulfillment of operations, create work productivity and quality standards, establish business partner relationships, enforce government regulations, manage complex projects, review metrics, establish action plans for improvement, and develop and maintain an effective organization through staff selection, training, compensation, and motivation.

  • Leading large teams and driving positive results and progress by reviewing and analyzing metrics
  • Motivating and driving a team-oriented culture, mentoring direct reports and others in the workforce to ensure continued growth and succession
  • Staying "hands on" by traveling often in the field and staying close to challenges that arise

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

  • Experience: Experience working in the cable/communication business (10+years), management of annual budget preparation and implementation (8 years), senior level management experience (10+years).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or related field experience equivalent; Field Experience is inclusive of fulfilment/capacity management,construction/engineering, and plant maintenance
  • History of success in field operations leadership with proven ability to motivate your Team to achieve a common goal with both willingness and experience in taking on challenges, providing clarity, direction, and inspiration
