Responsibilities
The AVP Consumer Acquisition General Motors Insurance (GMIC), is responsible for developing and implementing daily operations of innovative ways to bring people to our quoting platform from across the dealer network. This role involves recruiting, mentoring, and leading a team to achieve positive outcomes that align with the company's strategic objectives. This role will provide insights and recommendations for executing and measuring initiatives aimed at driving customer growth through the insurance quote initiation process. Additionally, this position will act as a crucial liaison, facilitating the execution of initiatives between the General Motors Insurance team, internal GM Financial stakeholders, manufacturer partners, and the business needs of GM dealers.
About the role
- Serve as the expert of driving incremental top funnel leads leveraging the GM Dealer network, manufacturer partners and internal GM Financial stakeholders
- Partner with GMIC State & Product Management teams to execute regional insurance offers and provide reporting and recommendations to drive engagement that lead to the customer starting a quote
- Work closely with GMIC Business Intelligence Analytics team to fully understand, translate, and apply key insights; developing KPIs to measure success and recommend changes for continual improvements
- Present and deliver detailed dealer performance reporting to leadership on performance of campaigns and adjust accordingly to ensure success
- Cultivate the GMIC brand throughout General Motors Insurance, GM Financial, and General Motors
- Build and oversee a team of leaders and employees for assigned functional areas through ongoing execution of recruiting, coaching, and performance management
- Work with regional teams to build a team approach to integrating GMIC into dealer ecosystem including joint visits with GM/GMF sales team to support key relationships and assist each region/RSM/DAR in a strategic approach in growing GMIC quotes
- Act as a liaison between internal departments to help coordinate training and build engagement in the market, including building strong relationships with GM counterparts and participating in their events to promote GMIC offerings
- Train, present, and promote GMIC to dealer associations and GM counterpart meetings
- Partner with Product team to develop positioning that is compelling and differentiates GMIC from competitors

- Demonstrated understanding and experience with digital and traditional marketing platforms
- Strong financial acumen to be able to analyze and understand the financial implications of business strategies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to partner across the business and development teams to identify growth opportunities and build integrated marketing plans that capitalize on them
- Ability to build integrated and measurable marketing plans to drive demand for products, platforms and solutions, as well as overseeing implementation across multiple teams and shared services
- Knowledge of CRM best practices in customer segmentation, audience building, personalization and measurement to drive performance
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects at once
- Ability to inspire a viable vision through excellent oral and written communication skills, creativity, and strong problem-solving ability
- Data driven approach to campaign optimization and channel performance
Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required; Master's Degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in sales, relationship building, or other related experience required
- 5+ years of experience leading teams, project, and initiatives through influence required

Salary
The base salary range for this role is: USD $99,500.00 to $189,100.00. At GM Financial, we strive for transparency in all aspects of our business, including pay equity. This is the GM Financial pay range for this role and job level. The exact salary and compensation will vary based on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This role is eligible to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. Full time employees are eligible to participate in health benefits on day one of employment.
