Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Facilities Engineering Manager at The Culinary Center Cook Chill Building in Brooklyn, New York. The Facilities Engineering Manager will manage daily facilities operations and support the sanitation team which provides approximately 15,000 meals per day to the New York City Hospital Healthcare System. The Facilities Engineering Manager will be in charge of training employees, monitoring production equipment, preventive maintenance, refrigeration, breakdown and cleaning procedures and sanitation as well as some hands on repair and troubleshooting.

What You'll Do

  • manage facilities staff and daily operations

What You Bring

  • plant operations and maintenance experience
  • basic leadership skills and team building experience
  • strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
  • inventory management experience a plus
