Role Overview
Sodexo, a global leader in Quality of Life Services, seeks an experienced Facilities/Engineering Manager 2 to provide predictive maintenance support for our Life Sciences client in De Soto, Kansas.
What You'll Do
- Actively receive and interpret vibration analysis data from all in-scope assets
- Perform and oversee site/building surveys of steam, compressed air, electrical, and pumped liquid systems
- Troubleshoot steam, compressed air, HVAC, and pumped water systems
- Determine activities required for completion of a work order (W/O), determine and arrange any operational safety requirements for the completion of a W/O
- Work with Maintenance managers and individuals as required to complete the work
- Maintain records of all required asset history, W/O's, and program documentation utilizing site's Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) system.
- Maintain and develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs as appropriate
- Identify equipment that would benefit from PdM technologies., create follow up Work Orders for all PdM corrective actions and ensure follow through and completion.
- Complete monthly power plant surveys, complete documentation.
- Met with outside contractors with the intent to utilize new technology to assist client initiatives

What You Bring
- Experience as a journeyman engineer level with strong skills in instrumentation, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and outside contractors, architects, and engineers.
- CMMS (SAP experience a plus) and Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to support work in a union environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
