The Finance Team includes Finance Business Partnership, Accounting, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.

We’re looking for interns to join our Finance & Accounting Intern Program (FIP). As a member of the FIP, you’ll participate in a 10 week program in Los Angeles (or a remote location) designed to provide current students with a cross-functional, developmental experience within the Finance and Accounting functions at Snap Inc. FIP Interns will participate in projects designed to provide insights to our business, as well as formal and informal training and other networking designed to educate them on Snap’s business and the role Finance plays within our company.
Selected applicants will set goals for their internship that align with company strategy and allow for accelerated development, growth, and learning. Upon successful completion of the program, participants may be eligible for full-time positions within Snap Finance.
What you’ll do:
Own a project or workstream within the Business Partner Finance team in support of organizational goals
Strengthen your Financial Modeling and Analysis skills through day to day operational tasks as well as participating in key strategic projects
Build communication, leadership, presentation, writing, and other professional and management skills
Be provided ongoing development, leadership insights, and direction to help make your program even more valuable
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong accounting/finance knowledge
Ability to work with large data sets and analyze them to produce actionable recommendations
Ability to dive-deep and take complete ownership of complex projects
Must possess excellent critical thinking, problem solving skills and superior attention to detail
Ability to work across and up and down a dynamic organization
Prior experience working in a business environment
Ability to work under pressure, often in a deadline driven environment, and ability to perform several tasks concurrently
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field
Expected graduation between December 2022 to May 2023
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong academic record
Excel proficiency
Pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration program or the CFA program
