Position Overview

Siemens EDA is seeking an innovative marketing leader to drive high-impact, cross-portfolio marketing programs that advance our strategic market position. Reporting to the VP of Marketing Strategy, this influential role will architect and execute innovative marketing campaigns that amplify Siemens' visibility in targeted Electronic Design Automation (EDA) markets and catalyze new business acquisition. As a key member of our newly formed strategic marketing organization, you will have high visibility and the opportunity to support our go-to-market approach across the Siemens EDA portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Architect comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategies that align with Siemens EDA's growth initiatives and market positioning
  • Lead cross-organizational marketing councils to establish cohesive requirements and execution plans across strategic initiatives
  • Identify emerging platforms and innovative approaches to maximize Siemens EDA's market visibility and competitive differentiation
  • Develop and manage strategic co-marketing partnerships to extend market reach and impact

Campaign Management & Execution

  • Orchestrate integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, including resource allocation, budget management, timeline development, and quality control
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing assets and touchpoints
  • Direct external agencies and vendors to deliver high-quality, on-brand campaign elements

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product management, sales, R&D, and executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with business objectives
  • Facilitate seamless coordination between global and regional marketing teams to ensure consistent campaign execution
  • Engage with customers and sales organizations to promote new technologies and solutions effectively
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across the organization to drive marketing integration and effectiveness

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness and return on investment
  • Implement data analytics frameworks to track marketing performance and generate actionable insights
  • Deliver comprehensive campaign performance reports to executive leadership
  • Continuously refine marketing approaches based on performance data and market feedback
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform strategic marketing decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering-related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in technology marketing with demonstrated success in campaign management
  • Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and manage complex projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing strategies, content marketing, and integrated campaign execution
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing metrics analysis and performance optimization
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Experience working within a matrix organization and managing cross-functional initiatives
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 20%)

The salary range for this position is $126,100 to $227,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave, paid parental leave, PTO (for non-exempt employees) or non-accrued flexible vacation (for exempt employees).
