Position Overview (REMOTE role in the USA):
The aerospace and defense industry team has an Account Orchestrator (AO) role open which may include one or more accounts with an expectation to prospect, develop and grow new business within the assigned account(s). The AO has overall responsibility for the health and growth of their account which requires strong teaming and collaboration with internal stakeholders who, while not reporting to the AO, are critical for developing a healthy pipeline of business and adoption of the technology.

Core skill sets required in this role include strong business acumen, curiosity, problem solving, growth mindset and people skills. Knowledge of the A&D industry, competitors and the customer's ecosystem (their customers and suppliers) will be critical to drive new business. Experience in A&D, engineering, manufacturing and/or enterprise software sales is highly valued.
Responsibilities of the Account Orchestrator:
- Customer Facing: The AO is expected to spend ~50% of their time in the field with customers
- Revenue Generation: The primary goal is to generate recurring revenue by establishing an understanding of the client's business objectives and operational goals and aligning the Siemens solutions to the opportunities which will span the complete lifecycle of the customers products.
- Multiple Levels of Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the customer, including executive level, program leadership, mid management and end user advocacy.
- Solution Overviews and Demonstration Coordination: Development and delivery of executive level presentations; collaboration and leadership with internal leadership and technical teams to ensure alignment of demonstrations are addressing customer requirements and/or latent needs. Must have a growth mindset and become knowledgeable in current digital thread campaigns to support improved business processes with the customer.
- Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation: Lead collaboration with technical and business development/proposal teams to create tailored responses and engagements to maximize opportunities to compete and win new business with the customer.
- Adoption, Training & Support: Provide oversight and input to the adoption plans for new technology at customer site. Ensure processes are followed to account for creation and execution of training sessions for end-users and ongoing support to ensure successful implementation and utilization of the software6.
Minimum Requirements:
- The candidate should have a strong track record in sales, particularly in strategic and solution selling. The ability to drive business objectives from a customer into a multi-year business plan. This plan will include account strategy, as well as ability to develop and manage tactical execution plans are critical. Proven ability to brainstorm, problem solve, seek input from others and drive initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
- 3-5+ years of experience with technical sales, or supporting sales in a technical role
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools as well as CRM systems like Salesforce is important. Discipline to manage account plans, forecasts and create content for customer briefings is required.
- Communication: The role requires strong listening skills, as well as verbal and written communication. The expectation is to be customer facing whether onsite, on camera for virtual meetings or phone calls.
- Bachelors Degree preferred, or commensurate related work experience.
- Must currently reside in the United States, and can work remotely from anywhere in the USA.
- Due to this client being in the Aerospace & US Defense industry, candidates must be US Citizens.

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The total cash compensation range for this position is $142,800 to $285,600 with 70% (+/- 10%) of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
