What will you do in this position?
The Site Technical Manager is responsible for achieving the project's delivery objectives. They work closely with the Project Manager, Project Sponsor, and Project Team to define the project objectives, create a plan, and execute the plan to achieve those objectives. The Site Technical Manager has a working knowledge of the technical and organizational environments in which the project deliverables are created and will be used. The Site Technical Manager must have strong organizational skills, communication skills, be proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and be adaptable to a dynamic and geographically disbursed project environment.
- Lead a BMS team in the design and delivery of PLC control panels, sequences of operation (control descriptions), point lists (I/O lists), SCADA system, and PLC programming.
- Perform quality reviews of control panel drawings, point lists, and sequences of operation.
- Review customer HVAC BMS control schematics and specifications.
- Review technical vendor submittals.
- Work alongside project manager and planning team to develop scope and schedules for project delivery.
- Manage ongoing punch lists.
- Proactively identify scope deviations and lead commercial development.
- Support remote bench and remote factory testing.

Who will you report to?
This position reports to the Senior Project Manager
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Minimum of seven years work experience in BMS, HVAC, or Industrial Controls / Automation.
- Previous work experience as a lead automation/controls engineer or project manager.
- Knowledge of data center gray and white space.
- Knowledge of Modicon PLCs and EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly Unity Pro).
- Knowledge of Citect SCADA.
- Experience with Smartsheet and Microsoft Project (or similar) a plus.
