The account manager will be responsible for managing Schneider Electric partners by developing sales opportunities for transactional products and solutions. He/She is expected to lead the customer's journey, from business development to after-sales services.
What will you do?
- Account Management by developing and growing full Schneider Electric business with end users and channel partners; and establishing long term business relationship with owners and various stakeholders/decision makers
- Develops new sales opportunities and addresses the needs of larger accounts
- Maps out, qualifies and recruits potential Schneider Electric partners, and leading customers' journey into the required certification processes
- Robust pipeline development by ensuring timely forecast and healthy and profitable project pipeline, from the channel partners and from the end-users/project owners
- Responsible for monthly orders and sales performances as aligned with targets for the assigned accounts or partners, or end-users
- Develops strategic and tactical plans for converting from competing brands to Schneider Electric by ensuring value proposition selling
- Business intelligence by being able to actively network to industry stakeholders including but not limited to pricing, competition product positioning, channel partners, etc.
- Utilizes comprehensive product, electrical systems, competitor and customer knowledge to act as a consultant to high-level customer contacts regarding customer's long-range goals
- Serves as a resource and/or liaison to provide technical information to internal and external groups across all SE products and electrical systems
- Facilitate strategic proposals. Manages orders to assigned customer expectations
- Negotiates and coordinates pricing strategies, market conditions and changes for applicable area. Analyzes market to achieve higher margin results
- Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through in-depth knowledge of customer's organization, mutually trusting relationships with key decision makers, and account dedication
- Implements channel and merchandise programs

Qualifications
Who would be successful?
- Candidate must be a Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Electronics and Communications Engineer is preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful selling experience covering Industrial Market or at covering OEM or Control Panel Builder.
- Knowledge on Automation Products like Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, team player, goal oriented and success driven individual and must possess good moral character, and able to work independently with minimum guidance.
- Strong level of oral and written English and Stakeholder Management.
