What will you do?

The Project Quality Leader is key to ensuring a positive Customer Experience within our customer projects. The Quality Leader role ensures the Customer Voice is heard within the project team and that the activities in support of Customer Satisfaction are executed. This role interfaces with many departments/functions across the organization, as well as Customers, and is a great way to get exposure and experience across all aspects of the business. She/He will manage the Project Quality deliverables in the project team and the Issue to Prevention (I2P) actions as the project prioritization. Ensure that risks are identified by the team, communicated (shared) and actions are done (by the relevant stakeholders) to mitigate them. Establish the project quality goals, get its validation, and lead its execution. Support Design team to reach quality goals and ensure project robustness & reliability. Ensure project Safety is prioritized. Lead Problems solving (Issue to Prevention) with effective Root Cause Analysis and ensure that corrective and preventive action prioritization in the backlogs. Support Front Office to manage major issues.

Activities:
  • Supervise the complete scope of Quality (Design, manufacturing, Supply chain, etc.) for a customer project to improve Customer Experience
  • Plan and structure the QA/QC resources for the project and manage the costs involved to certify materials, people, process and/or process waste
  • Drive the Quality issues resolution and prevention using 8D and Lean 6 sigma
  • Deliver PQCP and Component Quality Control Plans (CQCPs) to the plants for creation of Process Control Plans, Receiving Inspection, etc.
  • Leads the Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to ensure the proper level of Quality is built into the processes.
  • Supports and trains cross functions on methods and tools needed to reach robustness, capability, and quality targets.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related, with specialization in Quality (plus)
  • 8+ years of QA/QC working experience - Project Quality experience is highly desirable
  • Risk Detection and Assessment
  • Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • PDCA implementation & 8D Problem Solving
  • SIX SIGMA • ISO9001
  • Advanced English (REQUIRED)
  • Spanish is highly desirable
  • Available for travels in all South America and eventually other regions (30% travel aprox.)
