Mission
Accountable for practicing and applying Design Reliability and Robustness processes, tools, software for a subset of the Process Automation to ensure that Schneider Electric products and solutions are designed to be safe, robust and reliable. Ensures that the Offer quality is built-in to reach the satisfaction of the future customers. Involved in Small or Large Projects, defined through OCP (Offer Creation Process), OCP-PA (Offer Creation Process for Process Automation) and OLM (Offer Lifecycle Management) to guarantee the best application of the Project Management system.

- Assist the Project Manager to effectively deliver small to complex R&D projects according to the project management process (OCP, OCP-PA, and/or OLM methodology)
- Ensure customer satisfaction and quality goals are met by project, and contribute to timely project releases to market
- Main deliverables are the Project Quality Plans, Stage Gate Assessments / Audits and Continuous Improvements tasks
- Guarantee that the Voice of the Customer is well collected and analyzed to provide robust and ranked customer requirements to the project team and ensure that all customer requirements are well considered from Open to Close
- Manage the Quality plan: the quality plan highlights actions to mitigate risks on offer quality and optimize project efficiency
- Process tailoring (Innovate, Waterfall, BLMP, etc.), animation, project risk management, lessons learned and decision-making
- Coach the team on methods and quality tools
- Secure the post-project life
- Lead the transfer to all actors involved in the next phases
Who will you report to?
You will report to the Senior Manager for Offer and Project Quality, Process Automation. This role is a hybrid position. You are required to report to the Foxboro, MA office at least 3 days a week.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline, related degree or relevant experience in Engineering / Quality Management
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Industrial Automation Business in areas such as Offer Lifecycle Management (New Product Development), Hardware Reliability, Project Quality, Offer Quality, Project Management, Industrialization or Engineering.
- A proven record of problem solving, quality systems, operating systems, networking systems, methodologies and tools for solving system level issues, and manufacturing operations experience
- Experience in handling multiple projects and working on cross-functional, multicultural project teams
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments, with a clear understanding of Quality Fundamentals
- Capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence at all levels of Schneider Electric
- Experience with quality engineering tools and practices is preferred: process mapping, 8D process, FMEA, and related tools.
- Must be self-motivated and customer oriented,
- Must have strong leadership, influence, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Six Simga Black Belt is a plus
