Schneider Electric's Secure Power division includes a wide range of products, (ie. 1Phase, 3Phase UPS, Cabinets, Power Distribution, Environmental Monitoring, Cooling solutions & Data Center infrastructure management (DCIM) software) that are taken to market under either the Schneider Electric or APC brand & are in support of our client's data centre needs.

Our mission is to be the trusted partner in Sustainability and Efficiency.

What will you do?

In this national role, you will interact closely with the Territory, Segment & Channel Sales teams and will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of 7 to 10 Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) that provide sales, business & admin support to their designated team
  • Ensuring that ISRs receive appropriate training, (to a defined standard) to be able to provide price quotes to our distributors, contractors, Channel Partners, End User Clients, etc.
  • Working with ISRs to clearly outline funnel input, forecasting & other funnel management responsibilities
  • Driving consistency, re: ISRs responsibilities across the country
  • Helping to coach & mentor ISRs & developing them for an eventual career in field sales
  • Driving a high-performance culture centered around customer first mentality
  • Working with territory managers to help dissect business performance & help execute growth in the territory

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Business Degree or equivalent on the job or educational background highlighting strong business acumen
  • 3 to 5 years' corporate experience in a global organization
  • 2-3 years of people management experience or an aptitude for driving success within a Sales organization
  • Previous Sales Experience
  • Strong Business background (formal or on the job) with ability to understand Market Dynamics, Market Sizing, forecasts & business plans
  • Strong Technical skills focused on both Electrical (ie. UPS) & Mechanical (ie. Cooling) Products
  • Strategic thinker with leadership skills and ability to drive results (ie. chase results v. wait for results)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time (within Canada & to the USA & International as required
