Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Human Resources Manager ( HRM ) split between our Chino, CA Distribution Center and Costa Mesa, CA Manufacturing site. The HR Manager position works in partnership with the management team s in leading HR processes including total rewards, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, wellness, learning, organizational efficiency, and employee relations. This position will be directly reporting to the HR Director for the Logistics and Configure to Order (CTO) departments in North Americ a.

- Adapts and anticipate manpower planning and organizational design upon changing business needs
- Contributes to development initiatives (skills, resources, processes) aligned with business and company strategies
- Participates in improvement and innovation efforts through ownership and management of the "People" aspect of the Schneider Production System (SPS) in the manufacturing environment
- Ensures deployment of SE People Strategy transformations, Leadership, Talent, Wellbeing, Learning, Care & Inclusion, and High Performance.
- Drives People Engagement for hourly and salary population
HR OPERATIONAL FACILITATOR:
- Facilitates people processes (performance management, development planning, salary review) in close partnership with DC/P lant leaders
- Ensures that HR policies and leadership practices are implemented consistently
- Works in partnership with the HR Shared Services and HR experts (recruitment, compensation, benefits, etc.) to execute various HR activities including recruitment, induction, performance management, training, compensation and benefits analysis, succession planning, interviewing and creating value added initiatives and more
- Facilitates orientation processes, learning and various company programs
- Supports hiring, interviewing and recruitin g as needed as well as support layoffs, terminations and reduction in force
- Manage day to day employee relations and HR related questions leveraging our internal HR Shared Service model; first point of contact for all hourly associates
- Support HR Manager in coaching the leadership team, provide advice and support on all related HR matters
- Provide advice concerning matters with employee discipline and conflict resolution
- Facilitate HR system processes and ensure data accuracy through digital tools; analyze data to support HR team in making better and strategic recommendations to the business
- Own and lead all hourly recruitment at the site: sourcing, coordinating interviews, hiring, onboarding, etc.
- Facilitate and lead the various initiatives for digital connectivity for our hourly associates
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Drives implementation of multiple project/program initiatives to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives at local and/or GSC NAM level
- Works closely with cross-functional teams and resources to achieve program and project milestones within established timeframes
- Manages risk by using established project management processes to address execution challenges associated with quality, schedule, and costs
- Ensures consistent visibility for program and project teams by monitoring and reporting business objectives , program/project achievements, and key indicators
- Drives adoption and challenges standards
TALENT BUILDER:
- Defines the Entity's talent strategy, supporting the identification and assessment of the best talent
- Champions Talent management philosophy/practices
- Builds a well-functioning, diverse team able to lead and support business growth , identify talent and build development and succession plans
- Facilitate and lead learning initiatives across the site. Partner with other functions to provide resources to develop our teams
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000 - $168,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources , Business, Management or other related discipline from recognized accredited University
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution center, and/or operations and enjoy partnering with line managers
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a HR Generalist, the ability to understand company's business performance and identify critical HR success factors; covering organization development and learning, compensation and rewards, talent management, and managing industrial relations
- The interest to learn, stretch yourself, be creative and solution oriented with your work and support to the business
- Strong leadership skills: collaboration, communication, influence, drive for results, effective planning & prioritization, and project management
- Strong verbal and written communications skills working in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in Excel, as well as ability to manage digital systems to analyze data
- The role requires on-site support split between two sites (two days a week at each site , flexibility on 5 th day) with flexibility to support multiple shifts
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
