For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $108,800.00-$163,200.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What do you get to do in this position?

In this position, you will support a designated number of distributor accounts to develop their skills needed to become the Square D experts for the business they lead for Schneider Electric. This engagement will empower them to increase market share and profitability for both the distributor and SE. The successful candidate will operate in a matrix capacity with Field Sales, Channel Sales and Sale Management so maintaining a highly communicative and collaborative environment is a must.

To accomplish these requirements, regular engagements include:

-Improving satisfaction and service to Distributor locations through responsiveness related to customer needs and proactive execution of established and prioritized goals.

-Manages a portfolio of Distributor locations and is the key Square D contact for all business-related activity.

-Drives strategic discussions and leads tactical execution with assigned Distributor locations.

-Assist in the development and implementation of promotional activity to drive sales growth in support of goals and objectives.

- SPA Management: Schedule and implement quarterly SPA reviews with each Distributor location, identify and implement actions and ensure utilization.

- SE Advantage Management: Schedule and implement quarterly SEA business reviews and develop/execute tactics to improve proposal-based business revenue.

- Inventory Management: Conduct inventory reviews to drive share growth by serving unmet market needs. Execute Distributor inventory analysis and review to ensure the correct mix and quantity of Schneider products to serve and grow customer business.

- Establish goals to drive growth in all Distributor transactional price modes.

- Determine and facilitate training required to improve and support distributor needs and competency development.

- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of electricity and electronics, Square D and competitive products and their strengths, weaknesses and applications. Applies knowledge of Square D products to customer's needs with a focus to drive competitive conversions.

- Coaching/mentoring resource for Inside Sales Team.

Qualifications

This job might be for you if: This individual in this position will have a BA degree in a technical field or equivalent experience and 5+ years of experience in sales. The individual in this position will be knowledgeable on the following products: Partner Low Voltage and Retails Products. Will also understand competitor products and can discuss the differences between Schneider Electric products and competitor products. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with good time management, verbal and written communication skills. Must have strong consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal communication skills with customers and partners. Must have product knowledge, as well as competency and experience to effectively utilize company software programs/collaborative tools and have business and financial acumen. Approximately 5-10% travel required.
