Abou the opportunity
Our Industrial Automation team are currently seeking a Business Development Manager - Software Defined Automation for a permanent position to drive sales engagement and be part of a dynamic team in a cutting-edge environment for the EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EaE) offering within a specific territory.
Reporting to the Head of Pre-Sales, Offer Marketing & Digital, the BDM is a self-motivated and driven individual with a "must win" mindset to play a pivotal role in enabling and supporting country sales teams and partners to position EaE as best in class together with being the liaison between sales teams and customers to our EaE Centre of Excellence.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and execute a multiyear growth plan aligned with product road maps
- Guide country sales teams to grow sales and market share for EaE
- Develop and deploy growth programs, initiatives, and winning strategies to targeted customers and sub-segments on EaE
- Launch and promote new features, functions, and libraries on EaE into the market
- Conduct market analysis to identify gaps and position EaE as the leading solution
This role can be based in Australian capital city locations of Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth only.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be an early adopter of technology with a sense of commercial intensity and experience in solution selling through a consultative approach.
Key skills and experience:
- Proven ability to apply innovative, inclusive, and result centric strategies to drive growth.
- 5 + years of relevant sales experience in Industrial Automation or Industrial Software portfolios
- Degree in engineering and/or software. MBA is an asset
- Experience in launching new products and offerings into the market
- Advanced understanding of IIOT and the convergence between IT and OT
- Demonstrated experience in consultative selling techniques and working with strategic partners and distributor channels
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups and strong commercial acumen
- A growth mindset through well-developed digital skills and a technical aptitude
- Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to a customer centric approach
This role can be based in Australian capital city locations of Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth only.
