Business Development Leader - Next Generation Automation

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Business Development Leader to drive the growth and adoption of our revolutionary automation technology - EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE). The ideal candidate will be passionate about cutting-edge automation solutions, commercially astute, and able to articulate the convergence of IT/OT technologies to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a multi-year sales and growth strategy for EAE in the Water Segment.
  • Drive EAE order/sales growth and pipeline expansion through a team of 3 BDMs.
  • Conduct targeted sales calls to platform accounts, collaborating with distributors and internal sales teams.
  • Organize and host learning series and webinars for end users, OEMs, system integrators, and consulting engineers.
  • Identify and participate in relevant trade shows and industry events.
  • Create playbooks for small and medium-sized EAE applications in the U.S.
  • Collaborate with sales partners to promote IEC61499 standard adoption.
  • Foster partnerships with Universal Automation.org members to increase awareness.
  • Define and measure customer conversion metrics, reporting on effective strategies.
  • Develop a comprehensive "getting started guide" for the general sales team.
  • Collaborate on joint target accounts with AVEVA.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of complex solution selling experience in manufacturing facilities, with a focus on the Water & Waste Water segment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automation systems: PLC, PAC, DCS, controls, and drives.
  • Expertise in software/IT systems: HMI, SCADA, MES, IIoT solutions, and connected devices.
  • Proficiency in solution selling, outcome-based selling, and customer-centric approaches.
  • In-depth understanding of business solutions and manufacturing applications for Water.
  • Ability to establish and maintain C-level relationships.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding yearly quotas.
  • Experience in business transformation solutions.
  • Ability to build and lead a high-level team of 3 BDMs to execute the Water & Wastewater Strategy nationwide.
