Job Description

  • Lead and manage Visa issuing and acquirer dclients by providing dedicated client relationship support.
  • Drive the development and execution of strategic plans to achieve business goals, acting as a key decision-maker and leader within Visa
  • Establish and maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders at all levels of client organization, including executives
  • Identify, develop, and close business opportunities with existing and potential clients, ensuring the growth of Visa’s market share
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and challenges, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and providing tailored Visa solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams within Visa to ensure alignment and execution of business development initiatives
  • Ensure client satisfaction and loyalty by delivering exceptional service and value, and by effectively addressing and resolving any issues or concerns
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, and leverage this knowledge to inform strategic decisions and initiatives
  • Proactively identify and develop opportunities, manage sales pipelines, and work with relevant stakeholders to mutually grow client and Visa business
  • Deliver disciplined account planning to meet and exceed identified goals and implement strategic initiatives.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge and interest in working within the Payments and technology industry
  • Client-centric with considerable experience in managing and leading key accounts and stakeholders, ideally in financial institutions, consulting firms or large retailers
  • Superior communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Results-driven team player, resilient and capable of operating independently. Ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a multi-functional, challenging, and fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives, policies and operational decisions
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with proven track record of exceeding goals
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive positive outcomes
  • Possess high learning agility, sense of humor and a global mindset.
