About the job:

Sanofi Manufacturing and Supply organization is preparing its future through an ambitious program named Modulus. The Modulus Project is at the cornerstone of Sanofi strategy as it aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges as well as Specialty Care Biologics products. One of these two facilities is implemented in Singapore in a new Greenfield site, with a design identical to the one in Neuville (France). The facilities will also have highly digitalized and automated capabilities which is a key enabler for operations using technologies such as autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs), cobots and cloud systems.

Main responsibilities

Supply Chain SAP Process Lead is responsible for providing comprehensive SAP support, with a focus on production-related modules, at our Tuas, Singapore manufacturing site. This role ensures the smooth operation of SAP systems, supports business users, and optimizes production processes through effective use of SAP.

Operational
  • Provide first-level technical support for SAP systems, particularly for production-related modules such as Supply Chain Management (SCM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), Production Planning (PP), and Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of master data across SAP systems.
  • Support reporting tools to helping users interpret data and resolve reporting-related issues.
  • Conduct SAP training sessions for newcomers and provide refresher training to existing users as needed.
Site Coordination
  • Act as Business System Owner (BSO) for patch and upgrade release testing with Global teams.
  • Coordinate assessment activities for system upgrades and ensure smooth implementation of SAP patches and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including manufacturing teams, to ensure SAP systems align with production needs and data consistency is maintained.
  • Participate in Centre of Excellence meetings as a representative of the Tuas manufacturing site.
Strategy
  • Identify and propose areas for process improvement within SAP systems.
  • Contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing initiatives across the organization.
  • Support the implementation of the company's initiative to simplify, harmonize, and standardize business processes using SAP S/4HANA.
Risk Management, Compliance, Ethics and CSR
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations when managing user access and permissions.
  • Conduct regular user access reviews to maintain system security.
  • Adhere to Sanofi's ethical standards and corporate social responsibility guidelines in all aspects of work.
  • Support in audits
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP ERP systems, focusing on SCM, SD, MM, QM, PP, MDM modules
  • Strong understanding of intercompany and end-to-end supply chain processes, and related modules in SAP
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, SAP security, and user access management
  • Strong understanding of database management, data integrity, and system patch/upgrade processes
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g. SAP reports, PowerBI)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, GMP, and pharmaceutical industry regulations
  • Skilled in SAP setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and user training
  • Proficient in process improvement, best practices implementation, and change management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages beneficial

About You

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • SAP certification(s) in relevant modules (CO, SCM, SD, MM, QM, PP, PM)
  • Experience: 8 years in SAP support, preferably in manufacturing environment
