Our team

Sanofi is seeking an accomplished and strategic leader for the role of Global Process & Product Leader - Rewards & Time to Pay. This vital position is responsible for the worldwide functional configuration design and strategy for Workday tenant configuration for the compensation, absence and advanced compensation modules, as well as the associated local benefits, rewards, time management and downstream payroll systems. The role encompasses the management of the technology to support annual cycles, merit processes, off-cycle/one-time payments, recognition programs, and external benchmarking. The successful candidate will be the Global Process Owner (GPO) to manage time and leave as well as payroll processing standards. Additionally, the leader will oversee the integrations of benefits and wellness vendors, and the core model for interfaces with local payroll and time management systems. This role will collaborate closely with the Reward and Performance Technology Strategy Leader, the Reward and Performance CoE (Center Of Excellence) as well as cross-functional and local P&C teams to deliver a strategic roadmap that ensures the seamless and efficient operation of reward and performance systems across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Product Management Leadership: Lead the product management team responsible for the global configuration and support of reward and performance solutions within the Workday tenant, ensuring alignment with Sanofi's strategic goals and P&C objectives.
  • Workday Configuration Expertise: Oversee the configuration of Workday's compensation and advanced compensation modules, including annual cycles, merit increases, off-cycle/one-time payments, recognition programs, allowance management, advanced compensation and the time and leave module. Ensure the system configuration meets global standards and adapts to local requirements.
  • Vendor Integration and Management: Manage the integration of benefits and wellness vendors with Workday, ensuring seamless data exchange and alignment with Sanofi's overall benefits strategy. Collaborate with vendors to enhance the value and efficiency of integrated solutions.
  • Core Model and Local Payroll/Time Management Interfaces: Lead the design and management of the core model for interfacing Workday with local payroll and time management systems. Ensure that configurations are consistent with global standards while accommodating local compliance and operational needs. Implement E2E simplication and standardization opportunities worldwide. Develop the business case for consolidation of payroll partners where appropriate. Diagnose root cause to remediate defects. Constructively manage local country stakeholder requirements with the benefits of standardization and automation. Manae response to internal auditor findings, and ensure that payroll operations are compliant with SOX and internal controls. Own the overall relationship with global preferred payroll vendor(s) and lead decision making working in close partnership with the People & Culture Technology Strategy leader for Rewards, Performance and Time to Pay.
  • Strategic Roadmap Delivery: Drive the execution of the strategic roadmap for reward and performance digital products, aligning with broader P&C technology objectives. Anticipate functional requirements and manage technical debt to support continuous improvement.
  • End-to-End Process Design: Oversee the end-to-end process design for reward and performance management, ensuring that global processes are scalable, efficient, and effectively integrated with other HR functions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Partner with Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Digital Products, People Services, and local market HR teams to ensure successful implementation and alignment of reward and performance solutions with overall P&C strategies.

About you
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital product management or HR technology strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing reward and performance management systems and payroll technology portfolios.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in managing the configuration of Workday's compensation and absence modules is required. Knowledge of benefits and wellness vendor integrations, as well as experience managing interfaces with local payroll and time management systems is expected. Experience implementing AI/Automation technology.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams through complex global technology initiatives. Strong collaborative skills, particularly in working with diverse stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to anticipate business needs and manage technical debt while delivering on a strategic roadmap for reward and performance management. Focus on innovation and continuous process improvement.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and strategies to diverse audiences. Proven experience with program management of multicultural global operations teams and working on global initiatives. Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement is advantageous.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications in HRIS, Workday, or reward management are preferred.
