The Salesforce Professional Services Regional Sales Leader is a critical role enabling and driving future growth in the Professional Services Sales team in Australia and New Zealand. This individual will lead and drive a team of Account Partners (AP), ensuring bookings and high revenue growth for Salesforce Professional Services.

A strategic thinker with enterprise, commercial, and cross-functional skills, they should demonstrate high energy, and have strong sales management experience and be an outstanding people leader. This leader meets with C-level client executives on a regular basis and maintains strong relationships with internal peers in core Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure client needs are being met.The primary measurement of success for this role will be YOY growth in overall services bookings and revenue.

Responsibilities:
  • Exceed regional growth and bookings targets, ensure organisational health and high customer satisfaction goals as a regional leader
  • Build, grow, lead and manage a team of qualified customer-focused Account Partners to create long-lasting customer relationships and deliver customer business value
  • Engage at the C-Level with customers and focus on consultative selling opportunities
  • Build a strong relationship with the License Sales organisation and regional Alliances/Partner organisations that are instrumental to success
  • Coach direct reports in sales strategy, pipeline management, opportunity management and career planning/development
  • Help the license and services team to envision and sell large outcome-based deal in the largest accounts in Australia and New Zealand
  • Work proactively with the partner ecosystem to drive sales, technology adoption, and successful deployment of Salesforce
  • Mentor and develop the entire services sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training as needed.
  • Conduct weekly forecast meetings and coach direct reports on strategies to drive closings and run the business. Monitor sales activity and track results
  • Report on sales activity and forecast to Senior Sales Management
  • Support other Geo RVPs and AP's by participating in and leading new and existing C-level client meetings; engage corporate resources as required to clearly communicate Salesforce's solutions and generate business value for our customers

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • A proven track record of leading a team in a technology sales environment
  • Sales management experience
  • Experience in growing, developing and leading sales teams
  • Experience selling services into Enterprise level customers
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota in a similar enterprise software application firm, selling subscription based products
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain C-level relationships where you are recognised as a trusted advisor
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms and typical CRM/Innovation projects
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Highly collaborative and excels in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
  • Strong customer references
