Job Overview

ROLE STATEMENT:

The TE Connectivity Energy Business Unit is seeking a Senior Manager Professional Services role reporting to the Energy Americas VP & GM and a member of the Americas Leadership team.

This role will support our strategic growth by driving operational excellence and fostering client relationships for technical services, project management, design engineering services, and training & technical competence services (including field services support). The ideal candidate will offer strategic guidance and lead the teams to drive streamlined processes and infrastructure support to improve efficiency and overall solution delivery to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the Professional Services team to ensure they align with the Company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with customer and internal teams to foresee risks, address problems, consistently meet deadlines, and ensure complete client satisfaction.
  • Partner with other functional teams for continuous improvement of our customer engagement methodologies
  • Assume responsibility for the team's annual Services revenue goals by developing and executing strategic initiatives
  • Assess processes to identify how current technologies are being used, how to apply lean techniques, and identify potential areas for improvement

What your background should look like:

KEY EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • 7+ years experience in leading engineering contractors (EPC) bidding process including tendering, application engineering, project management, or field services
  • Bachelor's degree
  • People management experience
  • Experience in Utility, Renewables, or Industrial markets is a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and proven success in managerial skills
  • Ability to understand complex content and drive team to fast resolution for customer success
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrate strong business development, leadership, teambuilding and coaching skills
  • Demonstrate ability to motivate teams and develop employee skills
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Highly motivated and results driven

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $155,000 - 230,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
