This is a temporary position for a Test Engineer working critical programs. There will be work performed on an existing Transmitter. The candidate will be working on a Transmitter Developing Hardware & Software effort. The candidate will perform the design of a Transmitter Test Station and multiple Panels. The candidate will analyze and evaluate new or improved electronic components as well as, including circuit theory, computer design and development, and instrumentation. The effort will require IV& and System Delivery to the Customer.

What You Will Do

  • Provide Test Station Design, Vendor Checkout, and Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V).
  • Mentor Raytheon employees, transition knowledge.
  • Development of Test Procedures (TPs), Special Instructions (SIs), etc.
  • Conduct Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) for complex test equipment
  • Design WaveGuide Configurations

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Transmitter Design Experience
  • RF Experience
  • WaveGuide Experience
  • Software Design Experience
  • Special Test Equipment (STE) Design Experience
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with specialty in Analog and Digital Design

  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

This is a temporary position of undetermined length.

The salary range for this role is $65.87 to $115.38. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
