We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Principal Test Systems Engineer, Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to join the Test Automation Department located onsite in McKinney, TX supporting Airborne Multi-mode Radar (AMR) Test Automation.

The Test Automation Department (TAD) is responsible for the design and development of test equipment hardware and software for a wide range of products and customers. The AMR Test Automation section within TAD is a growing and highly motivated team who consistently provides quality on-time on-cost solutions to support external and internal customers seeking innovative and economical solutions for their product lines. The section also supports change incorporation and obsolescence redesign efforts of various legacy systems in direct support of production capabilities.

What You Will Do
- Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion, act as an IPTL of multi-disciplinary employees on projects in technical manufacturing and administrative areas
- Oversee and coordinate the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines
- Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency of work
- Facilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract
- Monitor and track metrics, budgets, and schedules for the program including quarterly EACs, monthly LREs, PPRs, PMRs, TIMs, and other program milestones
- Establish a strong relationship with the program area, customer, and related programs to further invoke confidence in the ability to successfully complete development activities in a timely manner per the budget
- Incorporate test automation to streamline program deliverables and increase productivity
- The position has potential domestic travel up to 10% in support of development activities
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Integrated Program Team Lead (IPTL) or Program Management (PM) experience showing the ability to collaborate with multi-functional, cross-discipline teams on projects, working groups, and/or inter business units.
- Experience using program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and/or Risk and Opportunity Management
- Budget Change Request (BCR) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation for Engineering programs
- Experience in either hardware or software Test Engineering including integration, verification, validation, and maintenance activities within production/manufacturing/product qualification environments
- Experience assessing obsolescence analysis and managing a cross functional team
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- EVMS Certification, Program Management Certification, or equivalent
- Strong influential communication skills with the ability to present analytic and performance results from program to senior leaders
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning and ability to communicate complex messages to executives and senior leaders
- Demonstrated large/complex program execution experience
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering design and release processes, transition to production, and manufacturing process development and maintenance
- Experience with Automation Test Equipment development using a Unit Under Test (UUT) or Device Under Test (DUT)

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
