The Naval Air Missile (NAM) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) of the Naval Power SBU an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager. The position will partner and support the Naval Strike Missile (NSM) program area reporting to the NAM CFO.

The Senior Finance Manager will provide people leadership, development, and direction for teams of 4 finance professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the monthly forecasting process for the portfolio, ensuring accuracy and identification of risk and opportunities. Other planning responsibilities include development of the Annual Operating Plan, five-year strategic plan, and associated investment strategy to support business growth. In addition, be able to effectively communicate results through predictable forecasts, Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management, EAC process, extensive Program Reviews, and timely flow of information to the organization.
This position is currently designated as Onsite. However, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite from one of the following Raytheon locations, Colorado, McKinney TX, El Segundo, CA, or Tucson AZ.
What you Will Do
- Leverage experience in program control finance, accounting, and FP&A to meet all internal and external reporting requirements such as preparing EACs, monthly forecasts, Earned Value, and provide financial direction to the team.
- Identify problems early and develop corrective action plans, manage risks, opportunities, and implementation plans.
- Balance sheet analysis and implementing cash optimization strategies.
- Lead investment analysis across portfolio to optimize deployment of resources.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or other related field and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience.
- Professional experience in financial analysis in a highly matrixed organization.
- Experience in a defense or aerospace industry.
- Supervisory experience guiding teams P&L ownership or Financial Planning Experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer
- A demonstrated leader through Gate requirements.
- Experience with interpreting and providing guidance on FAR/DFAR.
- Experience with competitive proposals.
- Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial guidance on Raytheon Policies and Procedures.
- Excellent professional communication skills (Verbal and Written).
- Ability to multi-task and be able to support a dynamic team environment.
- Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process.
- EVM Certified.
Additional Information
- This position is grade M5, Senior Manager, Program Cost Controls.
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
