The Land and Air Defense (LADS) team at Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) Product Area as the Taiwan (National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) Business Manager.

The flagship product within the MRAD portfolio is the NASAMS system that is built in partnership with Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace (KDA). The system includes a Raytheon built Sentinel Radar, a KDA Fire Distribution Center and a Launcher that uses both KDA and RTX components. NASAMS is currently deployed in 13 countries around the world and the long-range financial plan contains multiple domestic and international capture opportunities.
The position, which will report into the Senior Business Manager for NASAMS programs, will provide a tremendous growth opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven finance professional. The successful candidate will collaborate with Program Office, Integrated Product Team, and Functional leaders on key business decisions, will drive program financial management and controls, and will provide financial guidance and solutions to meet program needs.
In this fast-paced environment, the selected candidate must be able to deliver expected results under demanding deadlines and constraints, excel at multi-tasking, be an effective and influential communicator with all levels of the organization, be a leader and developer of teams, and bring innovative ideas to solve the toughest and most complex challenges.
The NASAMS Taiwan program is pursuing a Company Funds Request (CFR) in anticipation of a contract award in Q1 2025. This job requisition is contingent on approval of CFR.
What You Will Do:
- Be a trusted business partner with all internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial strategy and execution across a dynamic portfolio. Brief senior multi-functional product line and business-level leaders on program and capture execution status displaying exceptional financial and business acumen
- Lead the management, development, mentorship, and recruitment of a diverse, talented, and geographically dispersed finance team
- Lead and oversee development and analysis of key financial data and metrics that will aid sound business decision making; this includes earned value cost and schedule metrics, estimates at complete, long range and annual operational planning, new business and capital investment analysis, and manpower planning
- Drive alignment of information between proposals, earned value management, estimates at complete, resource and investment management, and financial plans and forecasts
- Ability to ensure adequate financial controls that provide a balance between finance goals and operational goals
- Monthly Forecasting
- Development and support of the AOP and LRP planning activities
- Provide monthly variance and data analysis
- Support NASAMS Proposal activities
- Review financial reports, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field & 8 years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5 years finance work experience
- Experience with program controls and/or FP&A on aerospace and defense contracts
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with Production and/or Operations financial management
- Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process
- Ability to interpret and apply financial policies and procedures
- Influential and professional communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and be able to lead and support dynamic and diverse teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Proficient with SAP tools suites
- EVMS Certified
- Experience with managing Appropriation Request (ARs) or Company Funds Requests (CFRs)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
