As Associate Director, you'll take charge of Interiors Sanctions and Screening compliance, spearhead Global Trade Investigations and Disclosure efforts, and be the voice of Global Trade on executive leadership teams. The ideal candidate will work in an onsite/hybrid role based at our Winston-Salem, NC Interiors site, though we are open to considering candidates to be based at other US Interiors locations or offering a remote option.
What You Will Do:
- Improve and automate sanctions and screening processes, heightened-review transactions, ERP blocks, and MK Denial matches to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
- Develop and deploy SBU sanctions and screening specific training, procedures, and work instructions
- Conduct procedural sanctions and screening gap analysis and implement measurable corrective actions
- Assist in the preparation and management of sanctions licenses and agreements in compliance with applicable US and non-US Government regulations and company policies
- Oversee AES compliance, including correct filing, communications, training, and auditing, until responsibility transitions to the Interiors Americas Customs team
- Evaluate allegations of global trade compliance violations and breaches of internal policies through interviews and document review.
- Collaborate with the Collins Global Trade team and business units to identify root causes of regulatory and internal policy violations and implement corrective actions
- Brief Collins Aerospace executive leadership on status of ongoing GT investigations
- Lead sites in completing self-assessments and the development of processes to address gaps
- Assist with site assessments and visits to ensure compliance with GT requirements
- Manage antiboycott data collection and reporting
- Maintain applicable trade compliance records in accordance with internal policy and regulatory requirements
- Work with multi-functional teams on procedural implementation and sustainment
- Support other export compliance activities (e.g., self-assessments, internal and external audits)
- Manage the performance, development, and growth of direct reports and business process focals
- Support domestic and international business travel up to 5-10%
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in the absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant aerospace experience.
- Leadership, including but not limited to, program/project management experience
- Experience with US and non-US sanctions/regulations
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Direct experience with trade compliance including but not limited to the US EAR and ITAR
- Change management experience

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
