Your work will involve analysing the tax implications of such transactions, developing tax structures, and assisting clients in navigating complex tax regulations to optimise tax outcomes.

The Opportunity
As part of the United States National Tax Practice team you are expected to lead the way as technology-enabled tax advisors who provide benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Director you are to set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You are also responsible for mentoring the future leaders and fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together.

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 8 years of experience
  • CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
  • A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

What Sets You Apart

  • Juris Doctorate in Accounting, Taxation preferred
  • Significant experience with merger and acquisition tax matters
  • Exceptional communication skills in presentations and written work
  • Proven ability to develop junior staff
  • Leadership in generating new business
  • Experience with automation and digitization in tax services
  • Proven success in evaluating and negotiating contracts
  • Proficiency in leveraging pricing tools for strategies
  • A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

The salary range for this position is: $140,900 - $434,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
