The Financial Crime Senior Associate is responsible for developing and implementing fraud detection and prevention strategies to help the clients within financial institutions. This role involves reviewing and enhancing various fraud programs and fraud prevention capabilities, helping to conduct fraud program and risk assessments, and enhancing the existing fraud prevention processes.

- Experience conducting detailed fraud risk assessments to identify potential fraud scenarios and vulnerabilities within the organization;
- Design and implement controls to mitigate identified fraud risks;
- Monitor/test the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend improvements;
- Analysis of business processes and transactions to detect potential fraud risks;
- Preferred experience evaluating, implementing, and developing fraud solutions and controls;
- Experience analyzing fraud detection and monitoring systems and fraud controls;
- Understanding of fraud policies, fraud procedures, and fraud controls to prevent fraud for clients;
- Experience monitoring and analyzing data to identify unusual fraud patterns or red flags indicative of fraud;
- Demonstrated knowledge of banking products and services, including commercial, retail, private banking, broker-dealers, and transactional flows;
- Awareness of common and emerging issues impacting Financial Services clients;
- High level understanding of regulatory requirements and authorities related to fraud prevention, particularly within banking and financial services;
- Expertise in interpreting information and fraud regulatory requirements to create and implement fraud policies and procedures;
- Ability to develop and review fraud-relevant controls, policies, and procedures, assessing the alignment with regulatory requirements; and,
- Utilization of an analytic mindset and creative problem-solving abilities to apply regulatory requirements in a business environment.

The salary range for this position is: $84,000 - $202,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
