As companies pivot toward a digital business model, exponentially more data is generated and shared among organisations, partners and customers. You'll play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are mitigating risk by developing transformation strategies focused on data security, including efficiently integrating and managing new or existing data protection technology across their sensitive data landscape. Our team helps organisations safeguard critical assets by identifying, prioritising, and protecting sensitive or high value business assets. In joining, you'll focus on assessing, designing, and implementing data protection capabilities including data classification, encryption, de-identification, and sensitive data monitoring technologies to support a a data protection vision for our clients that can be integrated into their broader ERM, cybersecurity & regulatory framework.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success managing projects relating to the defining and assessing of Data Protection and Generative AI strategy, architecture and practices, and technology implementation including the following:
- Thorough knowledge of at least three Data Protection and Generative AI capabilities such as Database Activity Monitoring (IBM, Imperva etc.), Data Access Governance (Netwrix, SailPoint, Varonis etc.), Data Classification (Fortra, Microsoft etc.), Data Loss Prevention (Forcepoint, Fortra, Trellix, Symantec etc.), Information Rights Management (Microsoft, Seclore, Vera etc.);
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Data Protection and Generative AI technologies like Purview Information Protection, Purview Data Lifecycle Management, Purview eDiscovery, Copilot for M365 etc;
- Managing teams developing and implementing Data Protection and Generative AI solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned to their business, technology, and threat drivers;
- Managing teams implementing Data Protection and Generative AI tools within a complex business environment, through requirements gathering, building, testing, and production roll-out;
- Demonstrates experience leading Data Protection and Generative AI projects to define strategy and roadmap, operating model, policies/standards, and tool design and process documents;
- Leading evaluation of new solutions and services, developing skills and vendor relations within new Data Protection and Generative AI solutions and technologies;
- Demonstrating knowledge of NIST, HIPAA, COBIT, GDPR, CCPA etc. as well as other industry recognized information security/privacy standards and industry leading practices;
- Identifying and addressing client needs: building solid relationships with clients; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and resolving potential conflicts as a leader;
- Managing a team and/or work stream on engagement(s), development of staff, business development, and communications with executives;
- Leading project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and the successful completion of engagement work streams;
- Managing business development opportunities and/or engagements from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and sign-off;
- Collaborating with business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients;
- Demonstrated negotiation, documentation, and presentation skills;

The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
