This is a new role within the Primary Care Business Unit, reporting into the Sr. Director of Primary Care Partnerships, where responsibilities include managing partnerships across channel stakeholders and generating insights for brand partners.

The ideal candidate will be able to adapt quickly to the role requirements, demonstrate strong project management skills and be able to embrace ambiguity, navigate complexity, translate to simplicity, and be able to interact comfortably with senior leadership and key internal stakeholders to drive towards achievement of partnered project goals.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the single point of contact to manage the long-term relationship with established partners/customers to drive success and scale and ensure partnership success
  • Manage established partnerships externally with key partners as well as internally with key stakeholders and be a liaison across Primary Care (e.g., managing external and internal partners for programs such as Pfizer for All)
  • Maintain oversight across all external partnerships and run business reviews and proactively identify and escalate issues which require portfolio-level or senior management action.
  • Qualify and manage relationships with new partners interested in working with Pfizer from the health technology space, bringing those partnership to execution and scale.
  • Develop research and reports on industry trends, funding, and initiatives in relevant health tech verticals to help drive new business model ideations.
  • Conduct regular external sweeps(e.g., business development, sourcing or partnership evaluations) to determine innovation ideas in line with the innovation strategy.
  • Maintain network of strong external relationships with high potential innovation partners, identifying opportunities that the value creation could not be achieved apart.
  • Partner with team to engage strategically and collaboratively within a matrix organization of internal stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with partners in Digital and Market Access to incorporate insights from partners that might influence the strategy across Primary Care brands.
  • Be a champion for different ways of working and create an environment that fosters creativity.
  • Act as a key enabler in building a strong culture and driving the CMOs disruptive innovation agenda.

Required role qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree required with 10+ years' experience
  • Proven track record of scaling new business models within the innovation healthcare ecosystem and of managing complex projects and delivering against revenue goals
  • Demonstrated experience in account management managing complex partnerships and driving mutually rewarding strategies for partner success
  • Ability to build close relationships with ecosystem leaders that drive innovative partnership opportunities.
  • Strategic thinking - ability to translate top level goals into actionable strategy and business cases.
  • Collaboration and Partnership skills with high emotional intelligence in a highly matrixed environment
  • Executive Presence in working with senior leadership on highly visible partnerships.
  • Encompass a learner (also called growth) mindset to constantly incorporate different perspectives and angles to identify opportunities.
  • Highly skilled at written and oral communications

Desired but not required qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PhD or MPH)
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical brand teams.
  • Role will involve multiple geographies but requires flexibility to work with US time-zone on regular basis.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization, gaining.
  • Knowledge of design research, insights, ideation, and experimentation (Human Centered Design, Complex Problem solving, Lean Start-up)

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $134,300.00 to $223,800.00.
