Overview
PepsiCo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Internal Communications to support our Global Strategy & Transformation function. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing the execution of the internal communication strategy for an organization of 15,000+ professional associates around the world. In addition, the role will be required to align with the larger employee communications strategy, including identifying and curating Transformation content that informs and engages global associates and key stakeholders, and ensuring Transformation communications aligns with broader PepsiCo vision and messaging.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies: Craft and execute comprehensive internal communication plans that support the Global Strategy & Transformation function's objectives. Ensure messaging is engaging, clear, and aligned with PepsiCo's overall corporate communications strategy.
- Lead functional internal communication efforts: Oversee the creation and dissemination of content across various functional channels to keep associates informed, celebrate success / progress, and drive connection with leaders. Channels include quarterly Town Halls, quarterly updates from Chief Strategy & Transformation Office, ongoing Viva Engage content guidance and reviews, ad hoc email broadcast, quarterly newsletter / digital magazine, and more.
- Act as an investigative reporter across the S&T function to source, craft and merchandise transformation stories: Identify opportunities to educate broad swaths of PEP associates to bolster PepsiCo's reputation as a modern CPG company and show how S&T is helping to shape the future for the enterprise.
- Contribute to global editorial storytelling: Source and develop Transformation content for all relevant employee communications channels that informs, inspires and engages global associates and demonstrates the role S&T plays in shaping PepsiCo's future.
- Support communications for S&T-led enterprise initiatives: Provide counsel and support on communication-related matters to select sub-teams within Global S&T as needed - e.g. Information Security, Responsible AI Office, S&T HR / Learning & Development, etc.
- Manage a global team: Oversee team of communicators at the global and local level, including across S&T's Global Capability Centers (GCC) in India, Mexico, Poland, Russia and China. Drive more connectivity across the GCCs to instill a unified #OneS&T for #OnePepsiCo mindset.
- Measure and analyze communications effectiveness: Track and analyze communication metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of internal communication strategies. Use feedback and data to continuously improve communication efforts.
- Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and support for communication initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,900 - $249,900.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually.
and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. - Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.

Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience must include interaction with C-suite level stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages. Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of highly matrixed, multi-national corporations. Communications consulting experience a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering collaboration and driving results. Experience working with senior leadership and managing complex communication initiatives. Solution-oriented leader with experience leading through ambiguity.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong understanding of change management principles.
- Technological proficiency: Familiarity with communication platforms and tools, including intranet systems, email marketing software, and social media platforms.
- Travel: Ability and flexibility to travel for events and meetings.
