Responsibilities

As an EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Associate Manager, you will play a critical role in fostering a safe and sustainable workplace and will be in charge of the responsibilities below.

  • EHS Compliance: Ensure adherence to PepsiCo's EHS policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the local EHS budget.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of EHS Annual Operating and Action Plans.
  • Safety Targets: Achieve goals for Lost Time, Recordable, Severity, and Environmental rates.
  • Incident Prevention: Develop and implement strategies to prevent workplace injuries and environmental incidents.
  • Training and Auditing: Conduct EHS training, assessments, and audits to maintain compliance.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
  • Leadership and Communication: Act as a change leader, influencing continuous improvement in safety performance.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
  • In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7-9 years of EHS experience or High School Diploma with 15+ years of EHS experience.
  • Experience with EHS management systems and auditing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EHS management in consumer-packaged goods, distribution, manufacturing, or grocery industries.

Skills and Capabilities:

  • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking skills.
  • Organized and Analytical: Demonstrates solid problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Change Leader: Professional maturity with the ability to lead and influence change.
  • Technical Knowledge: Functional EHS knowledge in safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental regulations.
  • Project Management: Proven skills in managing budgets, schedules, and multiple projects.
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
