Responsibilities

As an EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Associate Manager, you will play a critical role in fostering a safe and sustainable workplace and will be in charge of the responsibilities below.
- EHS Compliance: Ensure adherence to PepsiCo's EHS policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Budget Management: Oversee the local EHS budget.
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of EHS Annual Operating and Action Plans.
- Safety Targets: Achieve goals for Lost Time, Recordable, Severity, and Environmental rates.
- Incident Prevention: Develop and implement strategies to prevent workplace injuries and environmental incidents.
- Training and Auditing: Conduct EHS training, assessments, and audits to maintain compliance.
- Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
- Leadership and Communication: Act as a change leader, influencing continuous improvement in safety performance.

Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 7-9 years of EHS experience or High School Diploma with 15+ years of EHS experience.
- Experience with EHS management systems and auditing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with EHS management in consumer-packaged goods, distribution, manufacturing, or grocery industries.
Skills and Capabilities:
- Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking skills.
- Organized and Analytical: Demonstrates solid problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Change Leader: Professional maturity with the ability to lead and influence change.
- Technical Knowledge: Functional EHS knowledge in safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental regulations.
- Project Management: Proven skills in managing budgets, schedules, and multiple projects.
- This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
