Position Summary
J. J. Keller's Consulting team is hiring an Associate Consultant to our highly regarded, successful EHS Consulting Practice. The purpose of this position is to manage Consulting subscription services, ensuring client needs are met effectively and efficiently. This position will also assist sales representatives with pre-sale and post-sale activities related to Consulting Services.

Job Responsibilities
- Manages subscription accounts and services for clients. Activities include, but are not limited to:
- Serving as the primary interface between J. J. Keller and the client
- Leading the start-up of new accounts
- Conducting/leading regular client review calls
- EHS related services
- Identifying value-added services for clients
- Tracking utilization of subscription services
- Developing project plans - number of visits, schedules, etc.
- Assists sales staff with pre-sale and post-sale activities related to Consulting Services business. Activities include, but are not limited to:
- Participating in customer calls,
- Providing service-related expertise,
- Identifying opportunities and discussing capabilities,
- Engineering/scoping solutions,
- Developing proposals/agreements
- Scheduling engagements.
- Provides clients with regulatory information, interpretations and best-practices for routine inquiries. Confers with Consultants on complex inquiries and ensures follow-up with the client.
- Monitors timely execution of consulting activities and assists with keeping engagements on schedule as appropriate.
- Provides sales estimates and pricing for non-standard business opportunities. Maintains maximum profitability and minimizes discounting where possible.
- Educates sales representatives and prospective clients on Consulting Services capabilities, processes and client responsibilities.
- Maintains expertise pertaining to applicable local, state and federal regulations in order to provide education and clarification to clients.
- Services all customers/clients, internal and external, in a professional manner. Resolves service problems to the mutual satisfaction of both the company and the client.
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of direct customer service, sales or customer-facing operations/service delivery experience.
- Experience in the environmental, health, and safety industry.
- Experience with JJKA products and services desirable.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, will consider an additional 4 years of EHS regulatory experience.

- Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of EHS regulations and ability to apply regulatory knowledge to a variety of situations.

Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.
