WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This individual will work with cross functional footwear partners, sports marketing and athlete ecosystems to deliver footwear for the world's best athletes on their sport's biggest stages.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is passionate about collaborating with a diverse, cross-functional teams to ensure we are building footwear to the exact specifications for the world's best athletes.

This individual will be charged with communicating directly with professional athletes and their ecosystem to understand athlete preferences and needs in their performance footwear, engaging cross-functional footwear experts throughout the process.

In addition to the above, this individual will also manage the product creation process from brief to box for all non-retail colorways in their identified sport. This will include everything from team bank promo, to 1 of 1 athlete PEs for key sport moments.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
  • Someone who is deeply passionate about Footwear and athlete performance
  • Proven track record of leading high performing collaborative teams
  • Demonstrated ability of excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting
  • Must be available to travel up to 25% of the time

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

This specific Athlete Footwear Manager will be responsible for promo footwear creation in the NBA and NCAA.

  • You'll work directly with Leagues, Teams, Colleges and Athletes to both build athlete specific footwear and tell unique color stories that align to our inline partners' business objectives.
  • Lead cross functional meetings for both NBA and NCAA footwear to ensure collaboration and alignment from brief to the field.
  • You will work in the fastest footwear creation engine at Nike - Reacting to key market trends, sport moments and athlete requests.
