Division Profile:

The Wealth Management Platforms organization manages digital platforms and experiences across the Advisor, Workplace and Direct channels, ensuring that our capabilities lead the industry and are delivered and integrated seamlessly.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated digital product manager to join the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Platforms team. As a product owner, you will inform direction and contribute to the creation and on-going success of the latest digital solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
  • As Product and Business Owner you will utilize your knowledge and experience with Business Analysis, Program Management, Strategy, and Problem Solving to deliver technical and operational solutions to both clients and Morgan Stanley
  • Areas of focus include Client Onboarding, Client Maintenance, and strict adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Business, Technology and Operations to ensure understanding of product strategy, roadmap, and work to be done.
  • Prioritize work based on needs and constraints in an agile software development environment
  • Prepare and present planned work to senior management and key stakeholders from business, technology, U/X, risk, fraud, communications, legal & compliance to obtain approvals
  • Lead responses and implement mitigation plans to address internal and external Audits, and Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA)
  • Document and analyze system issues; develop and write requirements (JIRA)
  • Gather internal and external feedback (focus groups, industry councils) and facilitate workshops and meetings to develop insights and solutions

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Technology, or a related field
  • Master's degree will be a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, project management, regulatory change management, or a similar role within the financial services industry
  • Team lead experience is required
  • Series 7 a plus

Required Skills:
  • Proven track record of delivering successful digital products on time and within scope
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to produce concise and effective presentations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of wealth management, technology, and regulatory environments
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving successful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel

Registration Required:
  • None

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $185,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
