The Morgan Stanley Experienced Professionals Program (MSEPP) is designed to recruit professionals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, with or without a background in finance and to develop their banking skillsets through training and the apprenticeship model. This is a program with an emphasis on attracting populations who have experienced barriers to entry in the finance industry, including first-generation college students, people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and others who can bring a unique and authentic perspective to Morgan Stanley as a result of their life experiences.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Morgan Stanley Global Capital Markets (GCM) is a world leader in raising capital for a global client base comprising corporations, institutions and government clients. GCM advises clients, originates, structures and distributes debt and equity offerings as well as derivatives solutions. Whether executing an IPO, a green bond issuance or a leveraged buyout, GCM combines Morgan Stanley's expertise in both Investment Banking and Sales and Trading to offer our clients seamless advice and best-in-class solutions.
GCM is organized across 3 main verticals:
- Equity Capital Markets (ECM) bankers focus primarily on IPOs, SPACs, equity financing and equity-related solutions.
- Fixed Income Capital Markets (FICM) bankers focus primarily on large Investment-Grade bond offerings, acquisition financing, sustainable offerings and debt-related solutions.
- Leveraged Finance (LevFin) bankers focus primarily on High-Yield bond offerings, LBOs and project finance.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have graduated from a four-year accredited university and have 2 to 6 years of post-graduate work experience.
Applicants should have strong analytical skills, client and/or project management skills, excellent written and oral communication, intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic. We are committed to mentoring and training Program Participants, and we will ensure that those entering from outside Financial Services have the tools for success.
TRAINING PROGRAM
The GCM program begins with a 6-8 week extensive training and development curriculum to equip you with the fundamental and professional skills needed to be successful in GCM. You will be exposed to a wide variety of roles, products, and services throughout GCM, working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced, client-facing, and market-driven environment. You will also participate in training and study sessions to prepare you for any required licensing and registration exams. Along with formal training, you will be assigned a mentor when you arrive at the Firm.

COMPENSATION
Expected base pay rates for the role will be $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
