The candidate will primarily work as a senior business analyst within the Operations, Field and Institutional Technology Group, Core Processing Team, partnering with various other business and technology units. Candidate must have expertise in interacting with business stakeholders, perform detailed analysis of requirements and convert them into clear and concise requirements for development team. The individual will be part of an Agile team working closely with team members in India, New York & Alpharetta.

Candidate will be a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and able to work under minimum supervision. The candidate should expect to work in a global virtual team, sometimes across multiple time zones.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Provide project management support for regulatory and control-related projects
  • Establish and maintain project schedules
  • Coordinate with development and support teams across the Firm, Product teams, Operations, vendors etc. To implement changes to Fully Paid Lending Program
  • Track dependencies and coordinate deliverables
  • Produce clear and concise presentation materials for program steering committee meetings and quarterly technology governance forums, including updates for Board meetings
  • Create User stories, Functional requirements, business rules and data mapping documents.
  • Understand and document data requirements, perform Data analysis for fully paid lending products and assess further Downstream impact.
  • Assist data consumers and development teams by undertaking data research/analysis tasks and answering questions about the data.
  • Work with the developers to define/document existing application infrastructure and architecture.
  • Assist with QA/UAT to review/refine test plans and create more detailed test cases.
  • Support in responding to Audit queries related to Business process and IT implementation.
  • Work with the project team and business to identify and resolve issues that arise during projects or as part of day to day business operations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
  • Build, develop, and grow relationships with IT and business areas vital to the success of the project.
  • Lead all aspects of Business Requirements from elicitation to business process flow mapping to proposing new functionalities to users for optimizing their processes.
  • Conduct gap analysis, scope estimation and impact analysis working with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with the Business Stakeholders, system architects and technical analysts.
  • Identify vertical and horizontal integration touch points. Call out dependencies and risks to ensure smooth development.
  • Working in the Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally.
  • Actively contribute and participate in sprint grooming and planning discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile ceremonies
  • Assess project risks and ensure timely communication to stakeholders
  • Resolve issues as they arise and escalate as needed
  • Keep management informed of progress and issues

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Minimum BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands on experience in the financial services field, with emphasis on banking/lending products and technology.
  • Good database/SQL skills - Hands on constructing SQL queries.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in Requirement Documentation and Analysis.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and influencing skills; ability to communicate effectively with technology and key business representatives.
  • Strong analytical skills required;
  • Including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Process analysis, being able to research and document end to end flows on complex processes and systems.
  • Competent and experienced in technology environments (e.g., Platforms, applications, databases, organizational structure and culture, teams involved in the successful completion of technology initiatives, etc.).
  • Hands on working experienced in Agile Scrum or Kanban lifecycles.
  • Understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.)?
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Able to multitask across several projects.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications: Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desired Skills:
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SAS, Scripting (R, Python)).
