Coordinator, Live Content (Seasonal)

The Coordinator, Live Content will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of MLB’s and MiLB’s Live Content teams. This role will oversee administrative responsibilities, distribute content, and contribute to social and creative strategies for both Major League Baseball (MLB) and Minor League Baseball (MiLB). The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and capable of multitasking and prioritizing workflows efficiently. Flexibility to work nights and weekends throughout the year is required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, lead, and/or assist with special projects related to Live Content.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external communications and social media personnel.
  • Share updates and information regarding projects, game/event coverage, and other assignments.
  • Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal MLB groups on all social and digital content matters.
  • Execute project plans to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
  • Generate and deliver timely, accurate updates in the form of reports, presentations, and other communications.
  • Act as a liaison between MLB and its Clubs to communicate information as needed.
  • Brainstorm creative ways to produce engaging and meaningful content

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field, OR equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of baseball (MLB, MiLB, its clubs, and players) is essential.
  • Ability to handle and distribute confidential information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional understanding of social media platforms and trends.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed

Pay Range: $25-$30 an hour 

The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision
