Division Description
Cosma Castings Michigan (CCMI)- a division of Magna International- is located in Battle Creek, Michigan. We are a casting and assembly facility that manufactures automotive body components for GM, Ford, FCA, Honda, and other aftermarket customers. We operate a 300,000-square-foot facility with approximately 500 employees. Summary of Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Attain safety, quality and productivity goals
- Troubleshoot plant facilities and production equipment problems
- Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, blueprints and files in orderly fashion
- Obtain training for professional development and to stay current on maintenance and safety requirements
- Complete all work in accordance with OSHA, NEC, JIC and DNR standards and regulations
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Electrical Journey Worker Card or Master License; or equivalent two-year educational degree program
- Experience working within a manufacturing facility
- You must be available for overtime as needed
- You must pass a urine drug screen, background check, and physical capability examination.
