Description and Requirements

The role reports into the UK&I Solutions & Services Group Leader.

From end-users who were easily satisfied to positive user-experiences playing a key role in the fight for talent. All this imposes major challenges to corporations and Lenovo is ideally positioned to help customers solve these challenges: Providing not only hardware-focused solutions from the pocket to the cloud but by challenging established players through legacy-free, fresh concepts on providing Global Product Services (Configuration/Deploy/Support), Digital Workplace Solutions; Hybrid Cloud Services; AI Powered Verticals; all with Sustainability inherent by design to support the growing importance of climate action and circular economy initiatives to all organisations.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide domain specialist support to customer Account Management teams, taking ownership of customer relationships to drive demand and execute complex service solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Build and coordinate a high-performing team to design value-maximizing solutions for customers and Lenovo.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that generate additional revenue from both existing and new accounts, focusing on larger deals primarily for digital workplace solutions, while leveraging Lenovo's full portfolio.
  • Identify and qualify a broad range of opportunities in collaboration with account teams, establishing professional relationships (up to executive level) with clients to understand their unique business needs.
  • Manage customer expectations and facilitate seamless communication between customers and solution delivery teams.
  • Act as a liaison for local Sales teams, Business Partners, and Key Stakeholders, including Lenovo's executives.
  • Ensure all opportunities follow mandated deal governance, maintaining financial health and alignment with Lenovo's growth strategy

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience of selling professional and managed IT services into the corporate segment
  • Effective territory & account management: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline management
  • Ability to present and to pitch at the right level to a wide range of key stakeholders from CXO to Technical to Finance
  • Capable of being seen as a thought leader and trusted advisor to our customers
  • Has a proven pedigree of leading large IT projects whether those are consulting, pre and post-sales transformational IT services or IT design and build projects in IT departments
  • The position requires the ability to articulate and present the business value of Lenovo's solutions and have a firm understanding of industry strategies and products
  • Experience leading large and complex deals
  • Familiarity with selling security, sustainability & Generative AI solutions is advantageous
