Description and Requirements

What You'll Do

The Alliance and Affiliate Marketing Partnership Manager is responsible for defining and managing the strategic alliance relationships and for developing the affiliate and partner marketing strategy for Lenovo's Global eCommerce business. This role requires a strategic and creative thinker with the ability to translate strategy into executable plans. The ideal candidate will have a business development mindset and leverage his/her partner marketing skills to identify and drive growth opportunities with alliance, affiliate, and other partners including influencer and referral marketing. You will guide geo marketing teams to execute on your vision and define how we grow the impact of alliance, affiliates and other partners globally. In this role, you will work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders including other marketing functions, sales, product, the alliance team as well as local teams in all regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the alliance co-marketing relationship for Lenovo.com, define joint business plans, create marketing proposals and plans based on mutual business goals
  • Manage the alliance partner relationships, track financials, coordinate the performance reporting with partners
  • Be the subject matter expert on alliance contracts and marketing fund requirements
  • Run the proof of execution process, ensuring compliance terms are met
  • Liaise with the WW Alliance and WW Marketing teams on alliance partnership needs
  • Develop the affiliate/partner program to drive new customer acquisition globally at scale, including strategy development for partner recruitment, activation, and engagement
  • Drive best practice sharing, standardization, and operational efficiency across geos via a BMS
  • Guide target setting and investment to meet growth objectives, track program success
  • Identify growth opportunities via influencer and referral marketing programs
  • Stay current on affiliate and partner marketing trends and educate the broader global organization on new opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field
  • 15+ years of online/digital or partner marketing with specific focus on alliance and affiliate management; influencer and/or referral marketing a plus
  • Working knowledge of the Impact Affiliate platform, or similar
  • Experience building global, scalable online growth channels that show clear results and impact
  • Experience with marketing stakeholder management and the use of data and insights to influence decision makers and drive business decisions
  • Experience supporting initiatives from strategy to execution and delivering results through critical thinking and creativity
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at both the strategic and tactical levels using problem-solving skills, a strategic mindset, and business acumen
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis and ability to translate analyses into actional insights
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail and outstanding time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a heavily matrixed environment
  • Ability to write, present, and sell in a clear, powerful, and compelling way; be a great storyteller
  • Adobe Analytics experience a plus
