Description and Requirements

The EMEA Category Product Manager will be responsible to lead a highly technical organization across EMEA. Reporting to the EMEA Category leader, this role primarily goals is to provide highly technical support to EMEA organizations and product & market expertise to help the EMEA sales team position products & win. Working closely with the Global Product Managers, this role is creating a link between the products team and the EMEA Category organization. This role also represents the "voice of sales" into the product team with new products or feature requests.

Responsibilities:

Product & Market Specialization

  • Work with Business Management to drive cycle/campaign product strategy
  • Provide guidance to Business Management function on right product positioning and collateral
  • Develop sales enablement content with support from marketing and Business Management to define Product/Features, Value Prop, Key differentiators
  • Drive Heat MEMEA to help define Strategy and identify GEMEAs & Opportunities

Product Lifecycle & Portfolio

  • Drive E2E Portfolio to maximize opportunities and meet financial objectives
  • Do the Sales NPI portion, enabling sales & channel with key messages & value proposition
  • Engage with BU and ISG Product team on specific product requirements
  • Manage "Top-Choice"/Tower/Rack life-cycle
  • Optimize cost structure at configuration level for key high-running models
  • Drive alignment with key Partners (AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, Broadcom, etc.) on features and functionality
  • Methodically capture new features & products request, prioritize them and share with Product team. Is the "Voice of the field" into the product organization.

Product Ambassador

  • Be a product and category ambassador internally and externally
  • Act as ambassador to support Sales in pitching products and defining the value proposition directly to customers and partners
  • Subject matter expert for all ISG products

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor, preferred Master's Degree Business Administration
  • At least 8 years previous experience in Technical Sales, Sales Management, Marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Entrepreneurship and with a high degree of self-motivation and drive
  • Deep understanding of various server and storage technologies
  • Impressive network or contacts across the server and storage industry with the ability to collaborate as part of an ecosystem
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Strong x86 Server expertise and related ecosystem
  • Solid understanding of Server software products (i.e.: OS, Cloud, etc.)

Base gross monthly salary starts from 2900 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also a variable part (a bonus) in value of 12% of your annual earnings.
