Leidos' Strategic Regulatory Compliance (SRC) team has an immediate career opportunity for an Analyst. The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor who is technologically savvy and adept at data mining, research, and analysis. The candidate will also play a critical role in supporting Service Center Reporting and Management, the Incurred Cost Submission, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) cost monitoring, and contract audits as required. Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving skills, persistence, and communication are required. Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Service Center Monthly Variance Report and planning processes. This includes reviewing and validating the MVR comments for reasonableness and accuracy for submission to DCMA; full life-cycle support of assigned service centers; review and approve annual service center plans to ensure they are complete, supported, and abide by the segment's disclosed practices.
- Support the annual service center Forward Pricing Rate Proposal submission
- Assist with the annual Incurred Cost Submission, including support for unallowable audits, schedule development and QA to successfully submit within 6 months of year-end close
- Assist in preparing cost impact analyses for Business Architecture projects and other cost accounting practice change initiatives
- Gather documentation, develop and execute financial queries, and analyze data in response to DCMA/DCAA inquiries and self-audits; resolve discrepancies as they arise
- Support the Strategic Regulatory Compliance self-assessments and audits and identify process efficiencies to reduce the time required and synergies that could be gained by working with other SRC teams or outside organizations
- Work cross functionally to document and communicate solutions, policy, practices, procedures and audit findings professionally and timely
- Assist in designing and implementing automation solutions to streamline and improve reporting capabilities
- Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations, internal controls, and policies and procedures
- Other duties, as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related major and 2+ years of related experience in defense contracting industry
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, sumif, and concatenate functions
- Working knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DFARS and CAS
- Able to work as part of a team and effectively interact with colleagues and Company employees across all functions and levels
- Adept at reviewing supporting documentation to make an independent assessment of compliance
- Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and successfully to completion to deliver them on time
- Well-developed analytical and research abilities
- Strong and effective communication and organizational skills
- Detail oriented with strong documentation skills
- Motivated and enthusiastic self-starter with ability to excel in fast-paced environment
- Interpersonal skills to include high ethical standards, integrity, courage, commitment, professionalism, flexibility, and collaboration through teamwork
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Leidos systems, policies and procedures
- PowerBI and dashboard development experience
Please note that the actual salary for this position is closer to the middle of the posted pay range.

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
