Leidos' Defense Systems Land Systems Business Area is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role will report directly to the program manager and will have a large impact on developing relevant solutions for our nation's warfighters.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Management Support: Assist project management teams in planning, organizing, and managing various projects, providing detailed data to support decision-making.
- Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms. Track milestones, deliverables, and resource assignments.
- Administrative Coordination: Set up and manage project collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint sites.
- Reporting & Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking. Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for internal and client review.
- Invoicing & Financial Tracking: Support monthly client invoicing processes and track project hours to ensure alignment with budgets and contracts.
- Data Analysis & Controls: Track and report project costs, risks, and schedules, assisting in the development of recovery plans when necessary.
- Meeting Support: Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and tracking action items to ensure follow-up and completion.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with engineering leads and managers to ensure client deliverables are tracked and executed effectively.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field plus 2 years of direct relevant project coordinating/project management experience. In lieu of a bachelor's degree 5 years of direct relevant project coordinating/project management experience
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in the defense industry or a project management environment.
- Must be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Must be a US citizen possess and maintain an active Secret clearance or able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL, area
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, JIRA, Adobe Workfront, or similar project management platforms is preferred.
- Experience with data analysis tools, scheduling, and financial tracking systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with clients.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50,050.00 - $90,475.00
