JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Supervise a staff of facility maintenance technicians who perform maintenance services, energy maintenance repairs, and oversee preventive maintenance programs for retail stores and company facilities, buildings and grounds. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
- Manage maintenance budgets, service levels and repair effectiveness.
- Manage company and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations associated with refrigerant usage.
- Ensure optimal functioning of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and life safety through the training of technician staff in EPA and company standards.
- Develop and execute division's refrigeration, HVAC and non-refrigerated equipment break/fix and preventative maintenance programs.
- Manage third-party contracted maintenance services.
- Manage the integration of energy reduction best practices into daily maintenance activities.
- Provide the Facility Engineering division manager with reports detailing budgets, service level information, repair effectiveness and refrigerant usage.
- Educate associates and enforce/follow maintenance software best practices.
- Assist construction and minor capital teams with project scoping, design criteria and quality control.
- Coach maintenance technicians to follow Facility Engineering's safety standards and training by providing support to the safety coordinator's directives.
- Manage and reinforce company's best practices for requisition and surplus, inventory management, and R&S transportation.
- Travel to division locations regularly to engage staff and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and day to day maintenance operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Assistant FE maintenance manager
- FE maintenance group supervisor
- Maintenance engineer
- Regional project manager
- Refrigeration/HVAC maintenance experience
- Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient skill level using Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated mentoring and training experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- EPA Type 2 Certification
- Level 10 10+ years' supervisory and management experience within a maintenance organization and overall satisfactory performance
