Vice President-Paid Digital Media Strategy & Planning

Home Lending is seeking a highly effective digital media expert to help shape the media strategy, maximize our investment, champion our learning agenda and drive the growth we expect in paid media channels. This role will be particularly focused on overseeing multi-channel (programmatic, online video, addressable TV, streaming audio, digital out-of-home, paid social, etc.) digital paid media campaigns for both local and national strategies.

As a Paid Digital Media Strategy & Planning lead within Home Lending, you will manage two direct reports, lead all aspects of the media strategy, the on-going optimization of all digital assets, and be the main Marketing liaison across a broader team of campaign execution partners, agency partners and our in-house media planning/activation resources.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor and develop a high performing team to reach even greater heights
  • Shape paid media strategies across multiple channels to meet business goals and desired results
  • Ensure that all briefs are clear, focused, rooted in insights and in alignment with the broader business objectives
  • Define and manage the focused learning agenda for elevating our capability in digital media channels
  • Translate media data into a story - providing context for any recommendations that team members can easily understand and activate against
  • Utilize analytics to drive marketing decisions based on customer interactions, onsite behavior, and creative performance
  • Assess what's working/not and communicate that concisely and with a sense of urgency
  • Provide thought leadership in media strategy, tools and trends to remain at the forefront of our customer behaviors
  • Oversee weekly, monthly, and/or ad hoc reports for senior leadership that include analysis of campaign performance along with strategic recommendations for continual improvement
  • Build and maintain relationships with all key partners and stakeholders
  • Collaborate and influence cross-functional resources to execute initiatives on time, on budget and with quality

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7 years' experience successfully managing multi-channel campaigns for a business or agency; financial services industry experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor and develop talent
  • Proven experience in data-driven media planning and implementation including understanding of media buying techniques and best practices
  • Experience leading fiscal management of media budgets, forecasts, and the expected revenue returns from media
  • Self-starter with ability to collaborate with business partners for information to shape a comprehensive and successful marketing strategy
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and make data/knowledge-based recommendations
