As a Project Manager in Commercial & Investment Bank Applied AI/ML for Operations, you will work closely with other project managers, the program manager as well as functional partners and multiple stakeholders. You will support the business in a range of areas and this responsibility will involve effective coordination with key stakeholders across the firm to communicate and execute against the business strategy. You will need to establish a network across multiple functions supporting the business, including: Finance & Business Management, Technology, Data & Analytics and Controls. You will have a strategic mindset and a true desire to fundamentally shape how AI / ML efforts are delivered across CIB Operations. This role will challenge the candidate to take on a range of strategic projects for our rapidly evolving team.
Job responsibilities
- Responsible for portfolio governance of data and AI/ML projects including managing the Book of Work, prioritization, management reporting, dashboards and analytics
- Identify process improvements & partner across teams to implement
- Analyze data to identify opportunities and trends, presenting findings and recommendations to drive strategic decisions
- Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle and all critical aspects of AI/ML development, offering guidance and serving as an advisor to key partners
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with internal cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organization
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2-4 years of experience in product, strategy or project management in a complex and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with big data, AI/ML, and public cloud concepts
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect information, articulate strategy, outcomes, and key messages
- Demonstrated ability to deliver executive presentations and messaging to senior and global business heads through excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with strong time management skills, capable of working autonomously and efficiently managing multiple tasks under pressure
- Collaborative spirit, inclusive working style, and willingness to share learning with others
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Identify potential roadblocks and escalate issues as needed
- Quickly learn about all aspects of the firm's AI/ML strategy and governance
- Collaborates with other team members to ensure successful implementation of the firm's & CIB's AI/ML strategy
- Ability to take ownership of individual pieces of the strategy as needed and continuously stays up to date with developments in the AI/ML field
- Previous project management or strategy experience
