This role is an opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery and management of the Operations strategy. In this position you will work closely with the Head of J.P. Morgan SE (JPMSE) Operations, Outsourcing, and Technology and their Leadership Team to deliver outstanding Business Management support across business updates, project management and data analysis.
As a Senior Associate within our Securities Services Operations Business Management team, you will deliver Operations business management services across a range of responsibilities, including strategy tracking and execution, business planning and performance monitoring. You will transform executive ideas into clear, impactful presentations, write clear and succinct presentations to ensure Operations updates are easily understood by a range of stakeholders, and communicate business strategy, performance and priorities at key forums e.g. business reviews, off sites. Additionally, you will perform financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis, and distill and refine financial storytelling for business results, enhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible, and enhancing consistency and efficiency across processing and reporting to meet business needs.

Job responsibilities
- Prepare and communicate business strategy, performance and priorities to key stakeholders
- Develop and manage organisation communication strategies for key stakeholders
- Deliver high quality executive presentations, reporting and analytics to support business decisions
- Lead the budget management process to ensure optimal resource budgeting and allocations to achieve business priorities; oversee investment/productivity initiatives across the end-to-end business to achieve multi-year targets
- Maintain robust cost controls and transparent reporting of financial performance
- Analyze financial performance, including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation
- Create ad-hoc analysis and presentations for senior management, and help design new reports and to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management
- Own and lead the production of non-Financial key performance indicators and management information that aid business decisions
- Harmonise with JPMSE Legal Entity partners in terms of consistent strategy, communications, and People Agenda
- Partner with the relevant external service/ infrastructure providers
- Represent the business in respective internal/external working groups
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Previous product knowledge and/or prior Financial Management, Business Management, or Chief Operating Office experience
- Excellent English writing, editing and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, including senior management
- Strong analytical skills, ability to present new ideas in a compelling manner from financial data and create meaningful reports and proposals for senior management
- Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within a local and global team environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple assignments, stringent deadlines and changing priorities
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Securities Services and Global Markets, and Payments Products, Operations, and Outsourcing
- Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- Software skills e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Tableau and Alteryx Suite
- German language knowledge
