We're looking for a high-energy, organized, and team-first event planner to join Chase's Event Strategy Center of Excellence. This experienced professional will provide consultation, planning, execution and analysis of events that support CCB overall, as well specific CCB lines of business and primary functions.

As a Communications Sr. Associate you will directly support event strategy, planning and execution for all large-scale events for the Card & Connected Commerce lines of business and Product, Experience and Technology (PXT) functions. You'll work closely with the heads of communications for these business units and functions to support Senior Leaders Conferences, market/site visits, town halls and more. We are looking for a poised and flexible team player who's comfortable multi-tasking in a creative, fast-paced and high-profile environment.

Job responsibilities:

  • Work with the Communications teams for the Card & Connected Commerce lines of business and PXT functions to plan and execute large events, road shows, site visits and town halls
  • Act as the first point of engagement for Executive Communicators when the business or function wants to host an event
  • Coordinate registration, accommodations, dining and other event logistics for smaller executive offsites or market visits
  • Engage our internal partners at the firm for larger scale conferences/events including the: Corporate Meetings & Events Team, Conference Center Planners, Technical Production/AV & Live Streaming Teams
  • Manage project plans, develop detailed run of show based on event agenda, order signage, coordinate/order giveaways, swag, etc.
  • Look for ways to enhance the overall event experience and continue to come up with fresh, innovative ideas for internal events

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 3+ years of event planning experience
  • Experience with registration and event systems/websites
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, hospitality or similar discipline
  • Event planning experience (3-5 years)
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a high-profile environment with competing demands
  • Proactive by nature and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Ability to cultivate relationships in the firm across various functions and lines of business
  • Eager to learn, contribute and make an impact
  • Some domestic travel required
