Job Responsibilities

  • Closes on Conventional Refi and Purchase, CEMA/Co-op, NY, New Construction, TX 50a6, FHA/VA, HAP/DPA, Coverage, Hotline, HELOC
  • Manages and prioritizes individual pipelines
  • Works with vendors to cure all post signing related issues or concerns
  • Communicates to the settlement agent or closing attorney to verify that funds can be disbursed
  • Retrieves disbursement delay monetary shortages from settlement agents
  • Communicates with partners and settlement agents via phone
  • Analyzes and notate documentation that is outstanding
  • Verifies receipt of all closing documents to ensure they are correct and have been executed properly
  • Reviews all outstanding closing conditions regarding required documentation.
  • Makes closing confirmation calls to ensure the closing took place and update system of record
  • Requests and upload critical document packages from settlement agents
  • Completes specific state required documents as authorized signer
  • Provides backup to Hotline and Coverage as needed

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Top 10% of scorecard preferred and no performance management
  • Excellent working knowledge of mortgage originations, specifically mortgage ops
  • Strong Trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Communication skills/Customer Service
  • Ability to collaborate well with internal and external partners
  • Proposes solutions to problems and utilizes all available resources
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years experience in mortgage loan processing/closing
